Carers Together in HampshireAt our initial meeting at Alton Community Centre in October, the Carers who attended said they would like a regular Carers’ meeting. This would be a group for ALL Carers, regardless of whom they care for.We have set up a monthly Carers’ Café, which will meet on the first Wednesday of each month, starting from Wednesday 5th January 2005. We shall be at the Methodist Church on Drayman’s Way, Alton from 1-3pm. All Carers are welcome - it doesn’t matter how old the person you care for is or what their disability or problem is. These Carers’ Cafes are invaluable to Carers, allowing them a little respite time and the chance to discuss any concerns with other Carers who are, after all the experts. It is an opportunity to find out information and to ‘get things of their chest’. Contact: |
