Triage provides telephone advice for minor illness and ensures that patients who need urgent appointments will be seen by a doctor or nurse as appropriate.

The group of nurses that run these clinics are able to help with many conditions: cystitis, earache, thrush, rashes, sore eyes, sore throats, for example. They can also arrange prescriptions although many common conditions do not need antibiotics. If needed, an appointment with your own doctor or the duty doctor can be arranged.
