The Nurses

The nursing team run a number of specialist clinics for health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the daily "triage" and minor illness clinics that answer telephone queries and see minor illness.
They can easily manage many childhood illness; coughs and colds, and urinary infections, as well as many other more complex problems. There is always a "duty" doctor for further advice should this be necessary

	Claire Muir RGN, BSc (Hon), Nurse Practitioner Interests: in managing minor illness, asthma, chronic lung disease, cardiovascular disease.
	Sue Robinson RGN Interests: all aspects of women's health including hormone replacement therapy and contraception
	Jenny Wood RGN Senior treatment room nurse, with experience of wound dressing, casualty, leg ulcer clinics, travel advice and child vaccinations
	Lynn Paice RGN, Nurse Prescriber Interests: managing minor illness, general nursing, asthma and travel medicine.
	Henrietta Thoma RN (Adult), RN (Mental Health), Nurse Prescriber Interests; treatment of minor injury, illness management and child immunisations
	Caroline Lowe RGN Interests: Very experienced in diabetes care and chronic heart disease.

Provide support to the nursing team and carry out a range of procedures; including taking blood, performing cardiographs and lung function test. As well as doing New Patient checks, and general nursing duties
